FAWCO Alumnae USA (FAUSA): an association of individuals who share the common experience of having lived abroad and have returned to North America, many of whom were members of clubs that belonged to the Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas (FAWCO). The FAUSA website is designed to assist with the repatriation experience of its members by serving as a resource for information, facilitating international ties, and providing a local social network.

InterNations: an online magazine and community for expatriates worldwide – present in over 300 cities and 180 countries around the globe.

Expat Exchange – Repatriation: offers up-to-date articles about repatriating and a ‘Returning Home Forum’ for networking with other repats.

I Am a Triangle:  A community for those who have lived in various cultures and countries, whether as children, teens or adults.

The Art of Coming Home, by Craig Storti (1997)   - A more academic approach to the challenges of repatriation. Renowned interculturalist Storti dissects the challenges for the reassigned employee, spouse and children and provides useful tips and suggestions for all.

Homeward Bound:  A Spouse's Guide to Repatriation, by Robin Pascoe (2000) - A solid, touching and humorous look at the real problems of repatriation by Ms. Pascoe, who is often referred to as the “Seinfeld of the relocation business."

Mixed Blessings: A Guide to Multicultural and Multiethnic Relationships, by Rhoda Berlin and Harriet Cannon (2013) - There are both upsides and challenges to the multicultural life.
